Haley C. R. Bernusky, MA, MSc
Doctoral Student in Social Personality Psychology

Welcome! My name is Haley, and I am a first-year PhD student in the Social-Personality area in the Department of Psychology at York University.
My research interests lie in the fields of mental health and addictions, including substance addictions, such as cannabis and alcohol, and behavioural addictions, such as problem video gaming. I am interested in emerging adult's motivations for substance use, excessive gaming, etc., and the mechanisms that help to explain problematic addiction trajectories. I am also interested in addiction and mental health treatment and recovery. I conduct my research under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Keough, director of the CRAVE Lab.
